Devdas

Devdas and Parvati grow up as childhood playmates and fall in love as naturally as breathing, but when his family refuses to accept a match beneath their status, Parvati is married off to a wealthy widower and Devdas is sent away to the city, where guilt and heartbreak slowly drown him in drink.
